Worked from the bottom up and using a drop sleeve this Crochet Sweater Free Pattern is simple but creates an amazing result! The only shaping you have is in the neck to give this crochet pullover a perfect crewneck fit! If you can slip stitch, single crochet and do a single crochet two together for a decrease you can definitely make this beginner friendly crochet sweater!

Assembly
- Lay your Back Panel on your Front Panel with right sides facing.
- Working from the Shoulder in to the Neck Opening, seam together using a mattress stitch or seaming method of choice on both sides.
- Place a SM 7.5 (7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 10, 11, 11)” down from the shoulder to mark the arm pit.
- Starting from the waist ribbing seam up to the SM you just placed at the arm pit using a mattress stitch or seaming method of choice, repeat for other side.
- Turn your sleeve right side in and with the join aligned with the arm pit begin seaming your sleeves to the body (front and back panel), repeat for other sleeve.
- Finish off and weave in all ends.
- Turn your sweater right side out and continue to Neck Trim.
Neck Trim
- Using Color A, attach your yarn at one of the shoulder seams.
- With the right side facing you single crochet evenly around the neck opening, sl st to join.
- Chain 1 and sc in each stitch using a sc2tog in each corner created by the neck shaping, there should be 4 “corners” on the front panel and 2 “corners” on the back panel.
- Repeat Step 3 three more times or until you have your desired neck opening.
- Finish off and weave in your ends.
