Pattern Description
This free crochet lace shawl pattern is suitable for many skill levels if you have knowledge of basic crochet stitches.
Wether you are a beginner crocheter or experienced crocheter you will find this intermediate pattern satisfying due to its unique stitch combination to create this lace shawl.
For this lightweight shawl you will need to know how to make chain stitches, single crochet stitches and double crochet two together stitches. Combining these stitches together will create the beautiful drape for this lovely pattern.
If reading a written pattern gives you trouble I have created a stitch chart to row pattern repeat.
To create this beautiful shawl you will be working in rows with a 4 row repeat.
This elegant shawl is a large rectangle with a finished size of 65 by 16 inches making this a perfect project that can also double as a scarf.
I love this lovely shawl because it is timeless and would make a thoughtful Christmas present for a loved one.
Yarn Substitutes
For this pattern I used a new yarn from Lion Brand called Botanic, a CYC 4 worsted weight 100% Tencel Lyocell. Botanic is a wonderful warm-weather fiber! Made of 100% Lyocell, a soft, sturdy, and breathable fiber created from sustainably harvested bamboo pulp. Botanic has a shine as you stitch it into a luxurious fabric giving you a touch of sophistication.
If you can’t get some of this yarn, these would be great substitutes.
