Pattern Description

Written as an Easy Crochet Pattern using basic crochet stitches in US terms, you will love this free crochet infinity scarf pattern using a new fiber from Lion Brand Yarn!

This pattern begins with a long chain you will then connect together to work in continuous rounds. It is very important to not twist the foundation chain unless you would like your circle scarf to twist. I accidentally twisted mine, but it adds some character!

Each repeat row is simple and only consists single crochet stitches. You will work that same stitch pattern the whole way around your circle scarf until you reach the end of a skein and then switch to your next color. This can happen in the middle of rows and not always at the end of the row.

The yarn used in this pattern to create an easy crochet scarf is a new yarn from Lion Brand Called Shaggy Chic. It is a  CYC #7 (jumbo) eyelash yarn available in 12 different colors! It is a super soft 100% polyester yarn that is fun to create with to make unique knit and crochet projects!

You may add or reduce stitches to make this circle scarf any desired length you would like so you can wear it in different ways!

  • After creating your chain it can be very difficult to keep it from twisting. I had not planned to have this scarf twisted but it happened! You can choose to twist or not.
  • When using this yarn your stitches will be extremely hard, if not impossible to see, but you CAN feel them very easily.
  • The hook used in this pattern is much smaller than the suggested hook on the label. Be sure to pull your loops LONG so that your stitches are not too tight.
