Design Story and Inspiration
I love to read, especially from a real book! I’ve tried e-readers, and while I enjoyed having so many books at my fingertips, there is just nothing like the smell of a paper book, the feel of it in your hands, seeing all those pages get flipped one by one and the satisfaction of closing it when you are finished!
I love making huge projects that are very time consuming, sometimes I need a break but I just can’t seem to put down my yarn and hooks! So I decided that something I can make in between is a crochet bookmark! They are simple and easy crochet patterns that can be made with scraps while also taking the opportunity to learn a new crochet stitch!
About the Yarn
Cotton yarns hold a special place in my heart. I have so many different kinds and I just can’t seem to stop grabbing new ones when they come to market! Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton is a great cotton yarn that can be used in so many ways! From Home Decor to Cleaning Rags to Clothing I knew this would also be a great yarn for a crochet bookmark!
