Starlette Variegated Yarn Review

Recently Mary Maxim sent me some of their new yarns, Starlette Variegated! I have loved the Starlette Solids from the beginning so I was super excited for one with multiple colors! This one is the color way Wedgewood!

Just as I had expected, this yarn did not disappoint! Now, I have tried multiple times to get variegated yarns to pool, but I am never happy with it. I know that is something that a lot of people struggle with, so I set out on a mission; to come up with something creative that didn’t look like a yarn mess. Something that you could do easily without having to be extremely careful with your tension and stitch counts!

After LOTS of frogging and trial and error I hit on something, and the Kai Cowl was born! Look at how beautiful and clean those stitches are! The Starlette Variegated Yarn from Mary Maxim is a serious work horse! It lost none of it’s integrity even though I really put it through the ringer!

So here is what I created…
