Starlette Solids Yarn Review

Maxim sent me some of their Starlette Solids Yarn and right away I knew I would love it! They sent me three colors, Dark Azure, Deep Green and Light Grey. I had and idea of what I wanted to do with them and knew these three colors were made for each other!

Just as I had expected, this yarn did not disappoint! After LOTS of frogging to get my stitch counts just right I realized how much of a beating this yarn can take! The Starlette Solids Yarn from Mary Maxim is a serious work horse! It lost none of it’s integrity even though I really put it through the ringer! Just look at how beautiful and clean those stitches are! How often do you see stitch definition like that after multiple frogs?

So here is what I created…

Can you tell how much I love it? This is the Daphne Pullover, a newly released pattern of mine. Daphne is a simple, fast crochet pattern that is worked top down in continuous rounds with no seams! After I finished this design, I popped it right in the washer AND dryer! Yes, really!!! It came out still perfect and SUPER soft with amazing drapey softness!

So if you are looking for a durable, soft yarn to work with Mary Maxim Starlette is it! I promise it will not disappoint and there are SO many colors to choose from!

If you want to make your own Daphne Pullover you can grab your PDF copy on Etsy and Ravelry using these highlighted links!

Be sure to grab some Mary Maxim Starlette Solids too and use code LifeAndYarn.
