How to Crochet a Cardigan with Pockets

The more busy life gets the more I appreciate having pockets! Convenience was super important when I began designing the Holly Cardigan along with it being a beginner crochet project. I have been trying to incorporate crochet pockets into more of my designs recently, like the Hailey Cardigan, because I can’t always have a purse these days! I hope you enjoy my newest stash busting crochet project on how to crochet a cardigan with pockets!

This is a great stash busting crochet project because is uses three different colors of worsted weight yarn! You could easily change it up and do more or less colors, maybe even solid if you wanted to! But if you’re anything like me and have a tendency to buy a few colors of the same yarn this stash busting crochet project is for you!

The Holly Cardigan is a great beginner crochet project too! I know at first glance maybe the color changes might be intimidating or even just the idea of a crochet cardigan is scary, but I know you can do it! If not for the cuteness of the whole cardigan at least try it for the crochet pockets! I said I love the pockets already, right?
