Design Story and Inspiration

I constantly go back and forth between wanting to make something simple or something complicated. Sometimes it is so hard for me to choose that I end up with multiple projects of different levels of difficulty! To solve that problem I decided to design a shawl that would be a little bit of both! My Sampler Shawl that we will be making for the March Crochet-A-Long with Furls is worked in straight back and forth rows but filled with lots of different stitches and combinations!

How a Crochet-A-Long Works…

This week on the Furls Blog you can find out what you will need to get started making your Sampler Shawl and swatch for gauge. Then the following week when you have everything ready the first half of the Sampler Shawl will be released so we can get started! The third week of the CAL will give try the final half and finishing for the Sampler Shawl!

This pattern will give you some challenges with more complicated stitches but has simple rows for a break. Worked over 250 stitches in each row, you will be able to get into a nice swing to be mindless for a bit before moving onto a new stitch pattern! Head over to the Furls Blog and get started today!
