*currently inspired here*

I just read a post about being “busy” on Instagram. I feel like I am ALWAYS “busy”. It’s definitely a state that I put myself in constantly. Always pressuring myself to get more done in less time then I have and going to bed at night thinking “where did my day go?”

What I’ve realized is that by doing that I am not living in the moment. Not taking time to sit back and enjoy the blessings I have around me, the wonderful things in my life that I have been given. I am a planner, always looking ahead and trying to get things done and figured out. Always BUSY. I am NOT saying that is a bad thing, just that I live too much in that state of mind. Next, next, next, not now, now, now. I need more now and appreciation for what’s in front of me.

Well you know what? I am going to make a conscious effort to not always be “busy”. To be more in the moment. Do only what I can do in the time that I have. I bet I’ll have less regrets and what-if’s living life that way. Do what you love, chase those dreams, and make it happen. Find a way but be less busy.

Where there is a will, there IS a way!

Time to really focus on my WAY because the will is most definitely there!

Thank you so much for reading! Be sure to leave a comment at the bottom of the page, I love hearing from you!

  1. I’ve been feeling the same way too lately! I’ve started grabbing my hook and yarn and heading outside as being my priority for the day. Everything else becomes just something else that needs to get done. That slight shift in what I’m “busy” doing has made such difference! :D

    1. Exactly! I feel like I am constantly trying to keep up with the same repetitive tasks that just need to get done. It’s frustrating. It’s so hard to get away from the “busy” work to really focus on some of my long term goals. Currently trying to figure out how to condense my daily routine to make more time for things more for me!
